Advent 1998 VOCATIONS UPDATE Please pray for Fr. Damian Hils, a former parishioner of Old St. Mary’s. Fr. Hils was ordained in 1995 as a priest for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fargo, in North Dakota. He is the pastor of St. Luke Church in Veseleyville and St. Stanislaus Church in Warsaw, North Dakota. Fr. Hils celebrated his first Mass in 1995 at Old St. Mary’s. Please pray for Fr. Marshall Roberts, a former parishioner of Old St. Mary’s. Fr. Roberts was admitted this year into the Society of St. John, a priestly fraternity approved by the Holy Father to offer Mass and the sacraments according to the Roman Missal of 1962. He resides in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Please pray for Mr. David Meconi, S.J. Mr. Meconi is a Jesuit scholastic, living and teaching at Xavier University. He will be concluding his stay in Cincinnati in May of 1999. He hopes thereafter to continue his theology studies at the University of Innsbruck in Austria. During the past two years David has been attending the Latin and German Masses at Old St. Mary’s. He is from Kalamazoo, Michigan. Please pray for Mary Jo Ueker. Mary Jo entered the Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist in Michigan in August of 1998. Mary Jo attended the English Mass at Old St. Mary’s before leaving for Michigan. Please pray for Mr. Troy Schuster, a former parishioner of Old St. Mary’s, who is studying for the priesthood at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
