followed by a meditation on the seven last words; 1:30
p.m., The Liturgy of the Passion; solemn chanting of the
Passion of St. John, veneration of the Cross, and Holy
Communion, with chant by the choir.

6:30 a.m., Lauds 5:15 p.m.; Vespers, 7:30 p.m.; Easter
Vigil. Blessing of the Easter Fire and Easter Candle,
procession, vigil readings, entry of catechumenates into
full communion with the Church, and Latin Mass. Chant and
polyphony by the choir.
