the Lord’s Supper with choir and Eucharistic
procession; Vigil at the altar of repose following Mass
until midnight; 12:00 midnight, Compline (Night Prayer).
April 2

Friday, 6:30
a.m., Lauds; no Vespers; 12:00 noon, The Way of the Cross
followed by a meditation on the seven last words; 1:30
p.m., The Liturgy of the Passion; solemn chanting of the
Passion of St. John, veneration of the Cross, and Holy
Communion, with chant by the choir.
April 3

Saturday,
6:30 a.m., Lauds 5:15 p.m.; Vespers, 7:30 p.m.; Easter
Vigil. Blessing of the Easter Fire and Easter Candle,
procession, vigil readings, entry of catechumenates into
full communion with the Church, and Latin Mass. Chant and
polyphony by the choir.
April 4
Easter
Sunday, 6:30
a.m., Lauds; 9:15 a.m., Latin Missa Cantata, chant and
polyphony by the choir, with string ensemble; 11:00 a.m.
German Singmesse with choir and Kolping/Donauschwaben
Brass; 12:30 p.m., English Mass; 1:30 p.m. – 5:00
p.m., Eucharistic adoration; 5:00 p.m., Solemn Sung
Vespers of Easter with the choir.

Vespers, Rosary, and Benediction.

Friday, 12:10 p.m., Mass; adoration following Mass and
continuing throughout the day and all night; 5:15 p.m.,
Vespers.
April 24
Saturday, 9:00 a.m., Lauds; adoration throughout the
morning; 12:10 p.m., Mass; adoration throughout the
afternoon; 5:15 p.m., Vespers followed by Benediction.
April 25
Sunday, 6:30 a.m. Lauds; adoration until 9:00 a.m; 9:15
a.m., Latin Mass; 11:00 a.m., German Mass; 12:30 p.m.,
English Mass with adoration following Mass and continuing
throughout the afternoon; 4:00 p.m., Solemn Closing of
Forty Hours with Eucharistic procession. Chant and
polyphony by the choir. Parish reception in the school
building immediately following.

Chaplet at 3:00 p.m. daily; Rosary at 5:00 p.m., followed
by Vespers daily.
May 9
Sunday, 9:15 a.m., Latin Mass with procession and May
Crowning of the statue of the Blessed Virgin.
June 6
Corpus
Christi,
Sunday, 11:00 a.m., Solemnity of Corpus Christi
All-Parish Mass in German, Latin and English with choir.
Celebration of Father Lauer’s 25th
priestly ordination anniversary. Parish reception in the
school building immediately following.

Heart,
Thursday, 7:00 p.m., Mass of the Solemnity of the Sacred
Heart of Jesus. (replaces Holy Hour)
June 24
Thursday, 7:00 p.m., Mass of the Solemnity of the Birth
of St. John the Baptist. (replaces holy Hour).
