Laudetur Jesus Christus! Gelobt sei Jesus Christus!
Sia lodato Gesù Cristo! Praised be Jesus Christ!
We have had a tremendous response to the ordination, and we are full at the moment. If you reserved, I ask that you kindly let the office know if you can no longer make it. We have a waitlist of people who can step into any vacancies. So please let us know!

They will be in their priesthood retreat from March 1 until March 5 with Fr. Tuscan. Please be sure to keep them in your prayers during their retreat and over these next few weeks, and they make their final preparations for ordination.
As another reminder, we will have our Parish Mission from March 7 until March 9. Fr. Tuscan will be staying with us a few extra days to deliver this to the parish. The Parish Mission, held at Old St. Mary’s, will begin following Sunday Vespers. Sunday Vespers begins at 3:30 p.m. On Monday, Father will offer low Latin Mass at 6:30 p.m., followed by his Mission. On Tuesday, Father will offer sung Latin Mass at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Mission’s conclusion. So please be sure to join us. Fr. Tuscan will offer Mass at Sacred Heart on Sunday, March 7.

In 1990, he professed his first vows as a Capuchin Franciscan friar. Making his Perpetual vows in 1993, he went on to earn his Master’s degree in theology in 1995 and was ordained to the priesthood in 1997.
Fr. Joseph’s first assignment after ordination was in Papua New Guinea in the South Pacific, where he served for four years. Returning to the U.S. in 2001, he has served in various capacities as parochial vicar, pastor, military, and hospital chaplain and has also served in Puerto Rico.
Fr. Joseph currently serves as the national director of the Archconfraternity of Christian Mothers and in full-time preaching ministry for the Capuchin Province of St. Augustine, offering retreats and reflection days for parishes, Religious and Priests.
Some members of the parish are well acquainted with Fr. Tuscan. So please be sure to join us next week!
